TEHRAN, Aug. 17 (MNA) -- An exhibition displaying typography posters whose themes are the names of Allah opened at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art on August 16.

U.S. to host Seattle-Tehran Poster Show

TEHRAN, Aug. 29 (MNA) -- The Seattle-Tehran Poster Show will be held on the sidelines of Seattle’s Music and Art Festival from August 30 to September 1 in the United States.

According to Curator Daniel R. Smith and Iman Raad, the show contains a selection of 25 posters from each city sharing cultural themes such as music, film, theatre and contemporary art. The Seattle-Tehran Poster Show will showcase some of Iran’s top graphic artists none of whom have exhibited in the U.S. before.

  

Prague to host 5th Iranian Films Festival

TEHRAN, Nov. 29 (MNA) – 5th edition of Prague Iranian Film Festival will be held in Prague and Brno, the biggest cities of Czech Republic, and Bratislava, capital of Slovakia.

The 5th film festival will be held from January 30- February 13. Similar to its previous editions, a panel of jury comprising noted international figures will judge the Iranian films in the documentary and feature sections.

First edition of ‘Mehr Vision’ released

TEHRAN, Dec. 07 (MNA) – Mehr News English Service has published first edition of ‘Mehr Vision,’ a monthly collection of news reviews and analyses.

The cover story of this edition is dedicated to the Leader’s second letter to western youth where the Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized upon terrorism as the ‘Common Worry’ of the Middle East and the western world. Interviews and analyses by US analysts emphasize upon the importance of the second letter in getting the message across the European and American young cohort.

UNESCO to celebrate Intl. Peace Day in Tehran

TEHRAN, Sep. 19 (MNA) – On 20 September 2017, UNESCO will celebrate the International Peace Day with a public event at Azadi Tower, in cooperation with the Roudhaki Foundation, the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO, and Day Sun Cultural Institute.

Tehran’s iconic landmark will be lit up by video images related to the theme of peace. Day Sun Cultural Institute will produce the video mapping, which is an interdisciplinary and new form of art, using Architecture, Graphic Design, Cinema and Music.
